Davie is still in critical condition at hospital, and has just had surgery. Alun tells Susan that maybe they should cool things off, and not to tell Michael, but she tells him anyway and he is devastated. Eddie is getting bothered about a woman in his class who is being difficult. Alun leaves for Wales, and without Susan. Gary gives Sarah an engagement ring, but she isn't happy he spent the money on it
